Walkthroughs For Administrators

The Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) Walkthroughs for Administrators are designed to assist administrators in evaluating the effectiveness of instruction in gifted/talented (G/T) classrooms. While these tools are based on the TPSP scoring dimensions at grades 4 and 8 and the exit level, they are appropriate for use in any grade-level classroom serving G/T students. Administrators observing kindergarten through grade 2 classes may consider using the primary level walkthrough; administrators observing grade 3 through grade 5 classes may consider using the intermediate level walkthrough; administrators observing grade 6 through grade 8 classes may consider using the middle school level walkthrough; and administrators observing grade 9 through grade 12 classes may consider using the high school/exit level walkthrough.
