Student performance on the tasks is evaluated in three areas: product, research process, and communication. The TPSP provides scoring scales for teachers at the primary grade levels, in fourth grade, eighth grade, and at the exit level. The TPSP provides scoring scales for students in fourth and eighth grade. Participation in the TPSP can also provide schools and districts with valuable data on how they are serving their gifted/talented students.
