Assessment

Student projects are evaluated in three areas: product, process record, and communication/Q&A. The TPSP provides scoring rubrics to guide project assessment. Students, teachers, and mentors should also use the rubric to guide the overall development of the project. Participation in the TPSP can also provide schools and districts with valuable data on how they are serving their gifted/talented students.
